ODSVS Fund Needs $7.5 Million to Stabilize Services for Survivors.
March 22, 2007 - 9:28am
In Oregon, domestic and sexual violence services have, historically, been under funded. Oregon should not deny basic services for domestic and sexual violence victims. The ODSVS Fund helps provide:
- Emergency shelter and assistance,
- Critical intervention and support;
- Life saving safety planning;
- Culturally specific services and outreach to underserved victims;
- Comprehensive services for long term safety and for thousands of Oregonians
The Governor’s budget falls far short of what is needed. The lives of 1000’s of Oregonians are in jeopardy.
